Achieve unique style and cozy function with this crocheted cowl.

This beautiful crochet cowl consists of a delightful blend of red, green, gray and white yarn. The dyer called this color “Christmas Morning”, but it makes for a lovely pop of color accessorizing your neck year-round.

The cowl is covered in a baubles and lace design, from the Ambala Shawl pattern by Potter & Bloom.

I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through fairly true. Please note there may be some tonal differences in real life.

This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high-quality yarn from an independent dyer. The dyer is Sweet Tea Yarns (Molly Klein Designs) out of Indiana.

The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, which means it is 75% wool (super wash merino) & 25% nylon-which adds durability.

This cowl is about 14” tall with about a 26” circumference.

This cowl is designed to just fit over your head and provide a closer fit to the neck (with enough stretch that it shouldn’t mess up your hair!). However, the weight and yarn content make for a lovely drape that will keep you warm while snuggled against your neck, or it could be used as an accessory to enhance an outfit. As you can see by the small sample in the photos, you can drape it in a variety of ways.

The cowl will come prewashed and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.

Care Instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
