Block Stitch Crocheted Wool Cowl in Maroon, Gold, Black
Block Stitch Crocheted Wool Cowl in Maroon, Gold, Black
Achieve unique style and cozy function with this crocheted cowl!
I absolutely love the way the amazing colors of this indie-dyed yarn came up in this crochet block stitch pattern! The gold looks like crescent moons repeating across the horizon.
I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through fairly true. Please note there may be some tonal differences in real life. The skein of yarn pic is from the yarn dyers original listing.
This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high quality yarn from an independent dyer. In this case, the dyer is Dye Lots Studio out of Yorba, CA, and this particular color way is named “Arizona Sunset”.
The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, which means it is 75% wool (super wash merino) & 25% nylon-which adds durability.
This cowl is about 12” tall with about a 28” circumference.
This cowl is super drapey and will make for an excellent accessory to wear around your neck any time of year - but it can be scrunched up around your neck or pinned with a shawl pin if you want a tighter fit to keep all snug and warm.
As you can see by the small sample in the photos, you can drape it in a variety of ways.
The cowl will come prewashed, and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.
Care Instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
