Achieve unique style and cozy function with this crocheted cowl!

This beautiful crocheted cowl is a blend of vibrant blues and bright yellow. Bring the sunshine and sky right to your neck and feel extra warm!

The cowl is covered in a bobbles and lace design, from the Ambala Shawl pattern created by designer Emma Potter of Potter and Bloom. 

I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through fairly true. I’ve also included a picture of the yarn skeined up from the yarn dyers original listing so you can get a better idea of all of the colors throughout. Please note there may be some tonal differences in real life.

This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high quality yarn from an independent dyer. In this case, the dyer is Cornbread and Honey out of Ohio, and this particular color way was called “Pineapple Escapades”.

The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, which means it is 75% wool (super wash merino) & 25% nylon-which adds durability.

This cowl is about 13” tall with about a 30” circumference.

This cowl is designed to fit comfortably over your head and provide drape around your neck so it can keep you warm when you snuggle it against your neck, or it could be draped looser and used as an accessory to enhance an outfit at any time of year! Depending on where you live, you may appreciate a little wool around your neck even in the middle of summer. As you can see by the small sample in the photos, you can drape it in a variety of ways.

The cowl will come prewashed, and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.

Care Instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
