Lace Butterfly Crochet Cowl in Sparkling Green Tones
Lace Butterfly Crochet Cowl in Sparkling Green Tones
This gorgeous sparkly spring green crocheted cowl is covered in beautiful little lace butterflies!
I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through a bit darker than in reality, see the photo from the yarn dyed of the skein for a better look. It is also really difficult to capture the sparkle, which her picture shows better than mine. If you love springy tones of green, you will not be disappointed.
This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high quality yarn, from an independent dyer. In this case, the dyer is Ewe Knit Sew from Virginia, and the color is called Jealousy. The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, 75% wool (super wash merino) & 20% nylon and 5% stellina (the sparkly bit!).
This cowl is about 16” tall with about a 30” circumference. The weight and yarn content make for a cowl with a lovely drape that will keep you warm snuggled against your neck, or it could be used as an accessory to enhance an outfit. It’s long enough to provide some cover for your head while still keeping your neck warm.
The cowl will come prewashed, and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.
Care instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
